Villa Saraswati is located in the secluded settings of the traditional village of Payogan in Ubud, situated forty five minutes from the airport. The villa is conveniently located just five minutes from centre of Ubud. Villa Saraswati is the perfect sanctuary: it is ideally situated to explore the many beautiful areas of this fabulous island. Built along the flowing Payogan River, the villa reflects traditional elements of Balinese architecture incorporating all modern comforts using best local material to create a villa that blends into the surrounding environment. Completed in 2007, this villa has open plan living and is tastefully furnished. Indonesian heritage is represented with a varied collection of art and antiques in the living area.

Villa Saraswati Accommodation

Nestled amongst eight acres of tropical plantations this two storey villa consist of four bedrooms, spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, study, library, and media room, a spa room and a large salt water swimming pool.
Two airconditioned Master Bedrooms are located on the ground floor and first floor, respectively. Each master bedroom features a king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with outside bathroom attached.
The other two bedrooms are located next to second master bedroom on the first floor. connected by a foyer through the living area, these two bedrooms have queen-size beds and en-suite bathroom, with attached outdoor shower.
The study and the library/media room are located on the right wing offering generous space with various reading materials.

Villa Saraswati Living & Dining Area

The large Living Area is facing the forest of tropical plants and the river. It features daybeds, a set of sofas and a large coffee table, lit by an impressive chandelier. Stone steps lead down to the dining room and the adjacent kitchen. The glass windows open on to the swimming pool allowing the cooling mountain breezes into the room while enjoying breakfast or lunch.
All modern equipment such as large TV screen, stereo sound system, DVD players as well as wireless high speed internet connection is provided to ensure the necessary international high level of comfort.
