Additional information:
The Siddhartha Dive Resort & Spa is another innovation of Werner Lau in Bali. It all started with the opening of his diving centers at the Pondok Sari & Matahari back in 2003. Then in 2006 came the Alam Anda, his own hotel, which has made Werner Lau a legend in Bali. Now, with the opening of the new Siddhartha Dive & Spa Resort, the Lau group has increased the selection of resorts from which to choose in Bali. Stefan Brand & Barbara Ebel, Werner’s “partners in crime” for many years, are not only his business partners in this new venture but will also be managing the diving center. The resort has been designed & set up with considerable contribution from Wolfram Siegmeth. “Sigi” is also the person who was responsible for the complete renovation of the Alam Anda.

Siddhartha is the ancient name for Buddha & means something like: “To become enlightened”. For us, this is also true of our experience. All our experience and passion for diving has been channelled into this venture. Here, you will still be able to experience the real Bali with its’ cultural & typical way of life. The ceremonies our guests are allowed to attend are genuine, & not shows created only for tourists.

We have become integrated into the community of the neighbouring village of Kubu. Most of our colleagues & their families have lived and worked here for generations & are deeply attached to this area they call home. You are therefore considered special guests & are most welcome in our “home”. Our hospitality is evident from the very first moment.

Bungalows

There are more than 7 Superior Bungalows, 18 Deluxe Bungalows, five Ocean front Deluxe Bungalows as well as our 2 Dream Villas, the “Santai” & “Pantai”. Furthermore, room service is available from 06:00-23:00 in all our bungalows.

The Superior Bungalows:

Two of the 7 Superior Bungalows are inter-leading & are therefore particularly suitable for families.

Each bungalow isincluding terrace approximately 45sqm, has a semi open-air bathroom as well as its own patio with a Pergola. Located in our tropical garden, most have a view of the ocean. Modern and comfortably furnished in real Balinese style.

The Deluxe Bungalows:

These 18 bungalows offer including terrace a generously large living space of approximately 55sqm & are modern and luxuriously furnished. Various features in the style in which it is designed are a continuous reminder that one is in Bali.

These bungalows are situated far apart from each other within a large, tropical garden – in which there are ponds, fountains & of course, statues of the Balinese Gods – an area of more than
26 000sqm. The shade provided by the numerous coconut trees & various other species of trees in the garden, make it an ideal place to relax. Almost all the bungalows have a view of the ocean.

The Oceanfront Deluxe Bungalows:

These 5 luxury bungalows are situated in an absolutely prime location directly on the beach. The extremely spacious 65sqm living area, including terrace, modern facilities & interior decoration in the classic Balinese style, gives it a unique feeling of being at home. This is what one envisions when one thinks of a holiday at the sea!

There is both a normal shower as well as a “waterfall” shower in the semi open-air, semi circular bathroom.

The "Santai" and "Pantai" Villas!

Restaurant Siddhartha Tantris

The name of the restaurant "Tantris" together with its exquisite architectural design & location was specifically chosen.

The term “Tantric” comes from the Indian-Buddhist culture. We believe that pleasure is an intrinsic part of a balanced lifestyle. This is our main focus.  Tantrism is the assimilation between the mind & the material world. Pleasure without remorse.
With this as our inspiration, we invite you to enjoy our mouth-watering cuisine prepared & served according to the highest standards, in the most comfortable environment you can imagine.

Our restaurant immediately invokes a sense of calm precision, as a result of the attention given to each & every fine detail. The menu can be described as „Asian Fusion“: The delicious contrasting flavours produced by influences from the east & west, result in an absolutely unique culinary experience. The availability of a variety of international specialities & traditional Indonesian dishes concludes our culinary selection.

This all-embracing & multifaceted evening is also complemented by themed buffet evenings such as the Balinese or Indonesian rice table, BBQ grill evening with live music & Garden & Full Moon parties.

There is a culinary presentation of a specially selected country/region every week during the Siddhartha theme week. This can range from Japanese sushi & Italian pasta to Indonesian Redang.

Breeze
A variety of small snacks & beverages are available all day at “Breeze”, our pool-snack bar. And there is an extra special offer in the evening. A small selection of some of our seafood specialities – such as lobster – is available to guests with a reservation.

Siddhartha Spa

Further evidence of our architects’ genius can be seen in our Spa’s "The Six Elements" architecture. The 1500sqm area encompasses 6 single treatment areas – of which our rock spa has a particularly special ambience & one double treatment area for couples, all of which is surrounded by water & flowers. The whole concept of total relaxation is furthermore enhanced with a foot reflexology massage area.

You will be advised on the various treatments available in the reception area, which also includes a small juice bar.

Our trained Balinese therapists will then pamper you as you let go of your senses within this private & luxurious atmosphere.

Only natural products & massage oils of the highest quality are used for our massages, facials & body exfoliating treatments.

The essences of real blossom & sea salts are added to our relaxation baths, resulting in a pleasant odour.
